Aleksandar Zarak began studying classical guitar at the age of 11. After one year of study, he was awarded First Prize at the International competition “Guitar open” in Subotica.
He graduated from the Kosta Manojlović Music High School in Belgrade, obtaining diplomas in Classical Guitar and Sound Design.
He pursued higher studies at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory of Music in Florence, where he earned a Bachelor's and a Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar, studying under Maestro Francesco Cuoghi and Maestro Giorgio Albiani.
In 2019, he gave the world premiere performance of Gioachino Rossini’s previously unpublished work “Mi lagnerò tacendo”, preserved in the State Archives of Florence, Italy.
His artistic focus is composition for film and multimedia, integrating instrumental writing with sound design and audiovisual narratives.
He graduated from the II Level Master’s Degree Program in Film Music Composition at the “Francesco Venezze” Conservatory of Rovigo.
He has attended masterclasses and seminars with Dario Marianelli, Vincent Oppido, Francesco Donadello, Adriano Rullo, Zoran Anić, Aleksandar Hadži-Đorđević, Olivier Pelmoine, Jürgen Ruck, and Marco Riboni.
